Friday's 200 mile race at Dover International Speedway will feature a new look for the No. 56 Kyle Busch Motorsports truck, driven by Tayler Malsam. Boeing's Employee Community Fund will be all over Tayler's truck and he "can't be more excited about it!" He went on to say "I'm real honored and thankful to have them on the truck. Hopefully tomorrow we will be able to put on a good show for them!"

Much has been made about the fact that there has not been a repeat winner in the nine year truck series history at Kansas Speedway. Two weeks ago, a few of us were able to head out to Richland, WA to do a little go-kart racing on the half mile track at Tri-City Kart Club. However, these aren't your normal go-karts, we were reaching a speed of over 50 mph (but I felt like we were going 100)! The video was filmed and edited by Sam Bisset who did an awesome job. According to Kyle Busch Motosports twitter account, Tayler Malsam will be shown on the set-up show. Tayler will start 21st for tonight's race and teammate/owner Kyle Busch will be on the pole. There will be no practice tomorrow as Friday is set to be a one day show, meaning both practices, qualifying, and the race will all be taking place. I thought I would get this out before we head back home. The driver standings have been updated and despite the 14th place finish Tayler moved up in the standings. Anyway, it was a solid run for Tayler throughout the entire race. He had 8th place locked up but his left front tire gave out with two laps to go. He ended up finishing in a disappointing 14th place. Unlike yesterday, there is not a cloud in the sky. Its about 45 degrees and windy at the track but this race is going to happen today. It was announced over a half hour ago that qualifying was cancelled. We are still sitting at the track as Tayler has an autograph session at six. Rick Ren, the director of competition for KBM, just came in and said Tayler will be starting 8th tomorrow, and teammate Brian Ickler will start 32nd. Race will begin short after 11:00 A.M. pacific with coverage beginning at 10:30 on the SPEED channel.

The final practice session for the day was called early thanks to the rain. Tayler only ran 21 laps but the truck was getting better with every lap. In fact, his fastest lap came on the last lap he ran. The truck wasn't pulling hard to the right like it was in the first session, which was a major concern.
